How to clean the filter cloth of filter press

After long time working of filter press, and under the high pressure environment, there will be more and more solid particle stick to the filter press. Once they accumulate, the filtration rate of filter press will be reduced very much, and the efficiency of filter equipment would be affected too.
So, how to clean the filter cloth?
When the filter liquor is acidic, filter cloth should be soaked in the weak alkalinity water for about 10-24 hours, then knead it for several times, then washed by clean water. After drying, it can be used again. If the filtration liquor is alkaline or neutral, we should change the soaking liquor to acidic. If the viscidity is higher, we must add some diluent in the soaking liquor.
