Usually, there are the below four reasons if concrete pump is leaking out:

1. Pneumatic cylinder is air leakage in the hopper, the open/shut doors can’t be fasten, it need to change a new pneumatic cylinder.

2. Hopper is damaged, hopper need to be maintained.

3. Hopper is lifted too high, feeding material can’t be continuous, concrete material is easily to be threw from hopper. It need to low the position of hopper.

4. Hopper is good, but the signal of closing door is not correct, the door is not fully closed. Signal is light, signal need to be adjusted.

After finding the reason of leaking out, what we should do is repairing it aimed at particular case. If there is no time to repair it, we can control the lifting hopper, discharge later, that’s to say, after the first material enter into mixer, waiting for the first material is finishing mix, when the first material is discharge, then the second material enter in to mixer the same time, if so, it can avoid to leak out. If you can’t control lifting hopper, you can mix material one by one, after finishing all the work, and then repair it. If so, it can be sure formal work, and reduce losses.
