The introduction of filter press

Filter press is highly efficient, liquid/solid separation devices that utilise feed pressure and, in some cases, squeeze pressure to reduce the liquid content in process or waste slurries (dewatering) or, to reduce solid content in a product (clarification).
Recessed-plate filter press is among the oldest types of dewatering devices and while the basic concept remains the same, new materials and automation have improved the effectiveness and reliability considerably. Filter press often produce the highest cake solids concentration of any mechanical dewatering equipment.
